Jessica looses control of herself at several parties when she allows grief to rule her decisions. Before she knows it, she is in Brandon's arms, but before she leaves, her and Brandon are going to have some serious issues. | |||
Then a car pulled up and out stepped Rhonda and another girl. The other girl had long, straight brown hair and the stormiest gray eyes that Jessica had ever seen. They walked over to Jessica and Rhonda put her arms around her. Jessica leaned into the hug, fighting the tears that were welling up again. She'd never had a friend who knew when to show up and when to hug her. Even Anna had never known when to give her physical support, and even though she was resentful of Rhonda for trying to choose her friends and didn't trust her with her other friends, she knew Rhonda was the closest to a true friend she would ever find. “What's wrong?” she questioned, her silky voice purring with concern. Her eyes were filled with warmness and sensitivity that made her decide to spill her guts. The other girl, stood quietly behind Rhonda, not saying a word but her eyes displayed the same emotions even though she didn't know her and that warmed Jessica to her. The girl cared about what was going on heedless of the fact that she wasn't yet a friend and that was special. “My mom has a tumor and they can't help her,” Jessica hiccupped and a tear dribbled miserably down her cheek. She felt the torrent of tears threatening to fall and make her a babbling idiot but she couldn't help it. She needed her mother more than anything in the world and all of a sudden there was a chance that she could be gone. “Oh gosh,” the other girl bent down in front of her and wrapped her arms around her. She couldn't help it and she began to sob hysterically. The expression of caring was so touching and unselfish that Jessica found herself, though leaking salt tears like the Titanic, comfortable in the presence of the two and she trusted them both more than she ever had a friend before. “Come with us,” Rhonda insisted and Jessica obediently followed the duo into the car. She cried all the way to Brandon's house, unable to stop the unwelcome flow of tears. The door was open by the sickly boy and he licked his lips appreciatively at Jessica but she did not even notice. She was so distraught by what was occurring in her life that a bizarre boy having warped interest in her held no importance whatsoever. They slipped into the basement where pounding acoustics whelmed over her senses. Erica handed Jessica a beer and Rhonda nodded approvingly. She looked at the can with an expression of concern, she saw herself without a mother, her mom dying in the worse ways and all she knew was that she wanted the gruesome images of pain to go away. She took a sip hesitantly and grimaced at the bitter taste. Brandon took the beer from her hand and seductively licked the rim then took a swig. He passed it back to Jessica and she gulped down a huge swallow even though her stomach recoiled. She inhaled the rest of the can and another one found its way into her hand. She didn't want to be drinking and she didn't want to be there but grief compelled her into things she didn't even know she would do. It did wash away the amount of emotional abuse that she was suffering and seemed to make everything look better. Several more cans of beer went down her throat, burning the entire way down. Brandon's hands were on her waist and her arms were around his neck and his lucious lips were against her throat, kissing with enough force to bruise her flesh. His fingers traced the curve of her back and rear end, massaging all her sore muscles. His eyes, which held a light that was darker than the corners of hell, glittered insanely and burned into hers. The music pounded in her head and someone passed her a joint. She took a puff that caused her to gag as if her lungs were being thrust out and her head began to swim. The music seemed louder and the colors more brilliant. Brandon's eyes glowed a mighty blue in the hazy smoke in his basement and his skin seemed translucent. His hands were upon her and she clung to him as if he were her support in the world. The room seemed to spin and Jessica threw her head back with a laugh of insanity. She would have fallen but Brandon held her up, his strength the only thing keeping her from the edge of death. She took another deep breath of the joint before passing it on. Another can of beer was in her hand and she drank it down without even thinking. Click here to read the rest of this story (607 more lines)
