were sure I would kill him for questioning me, Damion was sure I would
kill him, I felt like killing him.

"Give me the note please." He handed it back, his hand shaking. I wrote
something else on the bottom and handed it to him. "That should cover
it." He nodded amazed at what I had written. Damion's eyebrow rose in
question but I did not stop to explain until we were out side. "I put a
note on the bottom for the one mother."

"What did you say?" He was interested now.

"That she has to pick up the tab." He laughed.

"She won't like that."

"Of course not. She never likes it when I tell her what to do. She'll
pay though she doesn't like owing anyone anything." He nodded
understanding the one mother just as well as I did.

"She'll be mad. Maybe mad enough to call you down for a talking too." He
warned.

"I won't come, she knows I won't so I doubt that she would bother to
waiste her strength trying." My creator and I had a complicated
relationship one where I did most of the dictating and very little of
the following. "She might though. She is getting older and it has been
a very long time since anyone save us has dared to challenge her. She
may beleive she has enough power to make me come."

"Does she?"

"I doubt it, my power grows still hers cannot. It will be the same as
the last time we dealt with one anouther and unless I am the one
growing over confident of her powers then there is no way the One
Mother would even be able lay a finger on me." He nodded know the full
truth behind my worlds.

"Still though she might call you and you know that if she gets mad and
uses her influence even you won't be able to say no."

"Do you think that it will come to that over a small bill?"

"No."

"Then what are we worried about?"

"Nothing." Did he know how reasured that made me?
