Remember those days when you and your dog grabbed your home-made fishing pole and went to the creek?

Mississippi Fishing Pole

by J P St. Jullian

Now, a fishing pole, by nature, is a right curious thing.

It's only a long stick attached to a good strong string.

A little boy goes fishing with his pole and a burning wish,

Until on the end of the string there's a great big fish!
