All fathers should set good examples and be good role models for their children.

Ode To My Sons

by J P St. Jullian

A careful Father I want to be,

For the two little boys who follow me.

I do not dare to go astray,

For fear they'll go the very same way.

I never once can escape their eye.

Whatever they see me do, they try.

Like me they say they're going to be,

The two little boys who follow me.

They think me good in every way,

And believe in every word I say.

The fear in me they must never see,

These little boys who follow me.

I must always remember as I go,

Through summer's sun and winter's snow,

That I'm molding their lives for years to be,

These two young sons who follow me.
