 Jadey? You ok?  he whispered. Stirring she sat  up a bit wincing at 
the pain in her head.  God I feel like crap. What happened? glaring 
openly at Blaze he gently pushed smoothed her hair back.  You fainted, 
maybe its time to take you home? Are you crazy! I have a deadline to 
meet. I can't leave now. Give me a second and.... The interview can 
wait.  He snapped.You need to go to home and get some sleep. You have 
been pushing yourself way too hard lately Jade. You have to take it 
easy. 

Pushing herself up she gave  him a patronizing smile and a slight nod. 
Can we at least find kase and let her know I'm going home then? Nodding 
he helped her up. The further she was from blaze the better he would 
feel. She might be mad at him now but she would thank him in the 
morning, if he made it to morning that was. How he would feel after 
blaze got a hold of him would be another story, One he might not walk 
away from in one piece. 

Quite suddenly he was angry. Blaze had no right to use his friends for
his own pleasures. He had know Jade too long to let her become another 
of blazes toys. He had watched it happen before and done nothing, not 
this time, this time he would put his foot down. Outside the night air 
was cool and refreshing on his face.  I need to sit for a minute. She 
said, sinking down onto the top step. Smiling he sank down beside her 
and looked up into the clear black sky. He had always loved September. 
It reminded him of fall leaves, pumpkins, and Halloween. Just as long 
as I live to see tomorrow he thought with a bitter laugh. He was about 
to put his arm around Jade when Light musical laughter drifted out of 
the house as Kasie and Kelly stepped, Arm and arm out onto the stoop. 

Surprised jade looked up at the sound of her friend's voice, Giving the
pair them a warm smile she squinted up at them. Kasie? That you? Hey 
Jade, Billy how's the party? Good but I'm not feeling so hot. I was on 
my way out.     Are you going to meet me at the store tomorrow? Kasie's 
face filled with concern as she moved away from Kelly.  Let me get the 
car and ill take you home then. Don't be silly Kase. I can drive myself 
home. Why don't you stay and have a good time we can gossip tomorrow. 
Winking she smiled over at Billy and chuckled softly to herself. 
Grinning devilishly, Kasie moved over to jades side and sat down. She 
wanted to tell her friend everything but didn't't want to jinx it. she 
smiled instead and gave a happy nod.  Ok, I just hope you don't fall 
asleep after the first few seconds. Chuckling Billy stood and walked to 
Kelly's side.  Will you be ok for a sec? He asks the girls.  I need to 
talk to Kell for a moment. Sighing in exasperation Jade rolled her eyes 
at him.  She hated it when Billy babied her it made her feel old. I can 
even drive myself home...but I don't think your going to let me out of 
your sight. Will you? He flashed her a cheesy grin. Nope. Promise you 
won't wander off? I promise dad. 

After they moved into the shadows Jade nudged Kasie with her shoulder,
giving her a small wicked smile.  He's a trophy. Who is he? Stretching 
out, Kasie grinned back shrugging slightly, trying to change the 
subject. Billy really likes you. I see it every time he looks at you. 
Come on Kase, Who's the stud-muffin?  She gave her friend a poke and 
smiles gleefully. He's a hotti, you need to keep you claws into that 
one. Chuckling she tried to	 hide her grin. Kelly's just a friend. I 
met him while I was out back. And what where you doing out back? In the 
dark? I was looking for the little bear when he came up behind me. 
Scared the crap out of me.  She laughed  gently and looked up into the 
night sky with a soft smile. Does he have a name? Kelly, ok. That's 
Kelly cooper...are you happy now? Kelly? Thee Kelly cooper. As in owner 
of darkwinds Inc? Are you shitting me? The man I am supposed to 
interview? 

With a nod she pulled her knees up to her chest smiling softly.  I was
out in the garden when he saved me from a dunking in the fountain. Are 
you sure you want to go home? What about your interview? There's always 
tomorrow. Want to come with me and take pictures for me? Grinning she 
gave a small shrug.  Sure. if IM not already here. Shocked Jade let her 
mouth drop open...she couldn't't believe her ears. Was kasie implying 
that she might lose the ball and chain she called her virginity? 
Alright what did you do with the real kasie? 

Before she could speak Blazes low chuckle was heard from the shadows of
foyer door.  Nothing yet” He purred  Why? Do you think I should? 
Startled both girls jumped at the sound of his voice. They turned  
unison to see him leaning in the open doorway. A perfect smirk on his 
chiseled lips. His face was in shadow but Jade knew just by his stance 
that it was Blaze that was speaking to them. Grinning she pulled kasie 
up with her. Blaze. This is kaise. Kasie id like you to meet blaze 
Darkwind, co-owner of darkwinds inc. Charmed. he purred without moving 
from his place in the doorway. Beaming Kasie cocked her head as she 
turned to face him. Kelly's told me so much about you I feel like I 
know you. 

Arching an eyebrow at her he crossed his muscular arms over his chest
and gave  her a wicked grin.  He has, has he?  Well don't believe 
everything you hear my dear. May I ask you why we are all outside when 
there's a party going on inside? Jade doesn't't feel well And I think 
IM going to give her a ride home. Smiling slyly he winked at Jade.  
I'll give you a ride darlin. Thanks but IM pretty sure I can drive 
myself home. Never said anything about taking you home. He flashed her 
a hungry smile licking  His lips, taking in their combined scents. 

Winking back at him Jade moved down the steps with Kasie. I'm sure Kate
will take you up on it. I hear she's dying to meet you. Its your loss 
my dear.  He tossed over his shoulder as he turned disappearing back 
into the shadows of the foyer. Why do I get the feeling he's damn good 
in bed? Giggled Kaise in a hushed whisper. Laughing Jade shook  her 
head. “Your sick kase, Really sick. No, Just really horny. Here comes 
Billy. Are you sure you don't want me to give you a ride? We could stop 
off for breakfast or rent a movie? Its still early. 

Giving Kasie a tired smile and shook her head once more.I better not, As
i recall your movie nights get pretty late,Besides.  She gave Kasie 
alittle push back up the stairs. You have a man waiting  Now scoot and 
call me with the details in the morning.  With a wave she walked down 
the stairs and out of sight. Still smiling Kasie turned back around and 
headed into the house after blaze. She was too wired to go home and 
eager to pick up where she and kelly hand left off. Singing under her 
breath she walked down the hall with a bright smile.
