Pulling the plug on a loved one is easier said than done.

Longing to hold you, squeeze you real tight. This is my gester....every
night 

I sit by your bed watching you sleep Telling the Lord your his now to
keep 

Together we had a life filled with joy Especially when God gave us our
boy 

We watched him grow fulfilling his dreams It was only yesterday that's
what is seems 

Laughing and talking together were we Our little family made up of three


Remember the Christman of sixty one The sleigh ride the bus ride all the
fun 

The angels we made in the soft white snow Laughing playing until time to
go 

The horses were gone no where to be Forgetting to tie them up to the
tree 

Miles from home on that cold brisk night No moon in the sky to give us
light 

But you my darling a hero to us Waved down a stranger driving a bus 

A pretty young girl stepped out the door From that day on our family was
four 

Joe got married making her his wife Unexpected things can change your
life 

She was depressed with no where to go Driving alone way out in the snow 

Destiny it was for all that night Life's so magical having it's own
flight 

Now your dying lying here in bed "Oh my darling we love you" I said 

God is calling your time here is thru I hear you talking I know what to
do 

I just have to think I don't want to let go What's the right thing does
any body know 

Should I pull the plug and let you die Or leave you in bed here where
you lie 

With tears in my eyes I tried to say "Oh God please..now..take him away"


"I can't do this I love him you see" "I need...you...to take him from
me" 

All is quiet no sound you could hear A light from the corner it was so
clear 

The angel of death what a sight to see God came to help he took him from
me
