The real reason I do this. | |||
95-4-1 Most of what I do, I'm fully aware is shit. Most of the time, its whining, extraneous crap. Most of the time, its not worth reading. But I swear I have moments. Not many, not even in each poem. Most of the time its just crap. But I swear I have moments. Seconds where I know, deep down, that I got right. Where I connect to something, something bigger. Something transcendent. And in those moments, I connect. I connect to every bitter tear. Every first kiss. Every first time. Its not often, its not even for everyone. Just a handful of people, maybe once or twice. That's it. But in those moments, I swear,-in those moments I feel something. And that's why I bother to do this. It makes me feel less lonely. Cause when I touch it, in those moments, I feel everyone. Everyone. And I smile. And for just a short moment, I feel. .. . whole. And maybe, just maybe, I can get someone else to feel that too. How cool is that? Tweet
