My thoughts on the third game of the World Series at Yankee Stadium and our President of The United States of America, George Bush. Baseball and America, a common bond for the rich, poor, young, and old. | |||
Proud to be an American. Thoughts on watching President Bush at the World Series. How nice to sit back and reflect on something good. Our Country, our President, and Baseball. What a delight and how inspiring to see President Bush on Tuesday night bravely (and that's no lie) walk to the mound at Yankee Stadium exposed and vunerable yet brave and with purpose. By throwing out the first pitch the President was saying "I defy you!" "You will not stop America, not take our freedom away, and not take baseball from us. Baseball is our common bond." The courage this took must be noted and applauded. Perhaps he...IS... the right man at the right time. I watched proudly as our President walked to the mound It was so quiet, you could hardly hear a sound Alone and vunerable yet with courage and determination With love for Baseball and this great nation The first pitch was thrown and down the middle it went What a courageous message Bush has sent All Americans stand.... proud and true You can't stop us, there's... Nothing.... you can do By Susystars and her wonderful loving husband Mark Cronenberg Tweet
