An inspirational poem about the events on September 11, 2001. | |||
We look back on the tragedy, And we just sigh. On that day of reckoning, though, I watched my peers cry. It wasn't that we were just sad We couldnt believe what our eyes had seen. We didn't understand the hatred. How someone could just be so....mean. We watched our TVs in silence As we watched the second one hit And under our breaths we all thought the same, "Stupid son of a bitch." They can shatter our cities And take apart our towns But we will survive, And America won't ever be pushed around. You messed with the wrong people Whoever you may be But we will get you one day, Just you wait and see. Tweet
