a little something about the more "tangible" aspects of love...

It Ain't the Heat

A July night when

The air is wet with perspiration

and respiration

Kisses hugs hands all heat up

Maybe its the heat outside

Maybe its the humidity

Shirts and skirts and blue jeans

Clothes.

Veils, barriers

But underneath we are all naked

And at the moment the knowing

Of that is enough

Its a theory to be tested later

For now its hands against fabirc

Jeans and skirts and shirts

And tongues and hands and heat

And humidity

And I know what you're thinking

"In moments like this you don't

Respect'em for their minds..."

But I do!

I do.

The mind motivates the motion

And the body obeys

Her mind makes the magic and

The music

Her body's a violin

Small and curved

And fits so nicely

so naturally

And the clothes add to the heat

Trap it and magnify it

And right now iti is the heat It is the humidity

But teasing tongues and despar

ate hands

Will not be long at the

Cotton barrier
