I have a lot of things that go through my head as this will clearly start to show.

I’ve looked high and low 

I’ve looked near and far 

I thought you were my destiny 

I bright and shining star 

You were always there for me 

When I needed to talk 

Then I said, “I love you” 

And all you did was walk 

Thanks for not taking advantage of me 

Just because of my past 

But I have often wondered 

If it would ever last 

I know I’m not beautiful 

I know I’m not smart 

I know you didn’t mean to 

But now I have a broken heart 

I thought you were my destiny 

My love yet to be 

Then I found out 

You just want to be a friend with me
