Amy's friendship was going through a bad time, all because of a boy. Emily, her best friend was mad that Danny chose Amy rather than her, so she came up with a plan to end their relationship, but did it work? | |||
Amy didn't seem to understand why her best friend was being nasty towards Her. She knew it was over a boy - Danny to be exact. Her friend Emily liked Danny a lot, but Amy was the one he wanted to go out with. So one afternoon, while walking home from school, she saw Emily on the other side of the road. She crossed over. ‘Hey Em, don't be like this,' Amy said once she was walking along side her. ‘Like what?' Emily replied. ‘Like I don't exist. All this over a boy. It is just not worth it.' ‘You know how much I liked him.' ‘I know. Fancy coming round to ours tonight? You haven't been for ages.' ‘Will he be there?' ‘No.' ‘I'll come round then.' When Amy got home she felt so much better now Emily was talking to her. They had been friends for a long time. They only lived a couple of streets from each other. When Emily got to Amy's house she had shock. She saw Danny knocking on Emily's door. She was convinced Amy had got him to go round to her house on purpose -just to wind her up. She wanted to hate Amy more than she did before. The next morning at school Emily was still fuming from the night before. She had a plan. She was going to get her own back on her former best friend, even if it was the last thing she ever did. No one was going to treat her like that - make her look a fool. So she went looking for Danny in the schoolyard soon after the break had started. ‘Hey Danny.' she said after she had walked up to him. ‘Hi, Emily. You look unhappy. What is wrong?' ‘That two-timing girlfriend of yours. I saw her with someone else. They were walking home together after school, yesterday.' ‘Maybe he was just a friend?' ‘They must have been very good friends. They were holding hands.' ‘You are Joking, aren't you?.' ‘Am I? Go and ask her. You'll soon find out if I am Joking or not.' And that is what Danny intended to do. He was mad. He wanted to know what was going on. He trusted Amy. He was shocked that she was seeing someone else. Danny stood outside the school gates once school had finished for the day. He was waiting for Amy. ‘Hi, Danny. What are you doing here?' she asked him when she saw him standing by the gates. ‘I want a word with you?' ‘Why? What have I done?' ‘You were seen holding hands with another boy while you were on your way home yesterday.' ‘Who told you that?' Click here to read the rest of this story (129 more lines)
