Gone I can feel your fingers, barely touching me. Leaving, in their wake, a trail of misery. My blood follows that trail, seeping slowly into the world. As pain washes through me, it cleanses me. Why were you able to touch my sould so deeply? I let you in, and you left me, All alone to face the universe myself. I feel my skin quivering, Unable to keep in the pain burned into my heart. I exhale, letting go of myself, Letting my emotions flow freely through my worn body. I concentrate on breathing, the rhythmic in and out, in and out. I take your image in my mind, then blow you away in a single puff of air. The pain departs, but the love remains. Tweet
