When I was about 16 years old I would often look in the mirror and not like the person I saw staring back at me. I was depressed and would often catch myself thinking about ending my life...which I hid really well from my family. Then one day I was home alone and decided that would be the day I used the rope from my bathrobe & flung it over the doorway and as everything started to go black I remember hearing a lot of whispering you know like the kind you hear in scary movies? Then everything started coming into focus again and I realized that my feet were back on the ground again. After that day I vowed that I would NEVER try that again and never have because I learned that day that its not up to us to decide when to end our lives its up to God's.
