I was an unbeliever until that night in the living room. | |||
A chilling true experience with the Unseen. I had always thought of myself as a realist, who believed in concrete facts and look upon ghosts etc with a sneer. However, all this changed one night in my apartment. My girlfriend Bridget and I were sitting in the living room having a chat by the fireplace when suddenly she stiffened and cried out, shock and alarm in her voice. "Michael, who is that man staring at us, I thought we were alone." "Where?"I asked a bit surprised looking around. "He just walked into the bedroom , he was looking at us with a scowl on his face, I don't think he likes me very much." "Aw ,come on,Bridget " I said with a sneer,"Not again, with one of your sightings. She was always "seeing things" which I thought was one of her quirks. "No, No, Michael,”She cried alarmed," He's standing right there staring at us." She pointed at a bedroom . I looked but saw nothing."Yeah, right, okay," I said finally trying to humour her, "Can you describe him ?."She did and I was shock to say the least ,intrigued, I got up quickly and went into the bedroom . (I have to admit there was a heaviness in the room and felt a prickling feeling I entered.) However, I took out an old family photo album from a chest of drawers and returned to the living room still skeptical. Tears were now in her eyes. Damn!,I thought, she wasn't kidding this time, I told myself after seeing the tears. "Don't cry, honey," I said handing her the album "Now take a look and see if you can identify him" After flipping through the plastic pages a few times, she finally stopped and pointed to a certain photograph . "That's him."She said firmly."He's the person I just saw." I looked and gasped. My scalp prickled . A tingling, creepy sensation washed over me. I couldn't believe it!. "Are you sure?" I asked, still in doubt. "Yes, it's him alright,", she replied sniffing and turning away her face. I was flabbergasted to say the least, for she had seen my grandfather who had died six months before I met her. Tweet
