My inner voice spoke to me. This is what she said.

Though I use the feminine pronoun this could just as well be about men
too. 

Closer Than Your Soul

Hello. 

Yeah it's me again. 

The woman you hate to love. 

For, if you were to love me, 

you 

would have to allow 

yourself 

to be loved by me too. 

That poses a threat. 

~ 

I don't offer an easy love. 

I love 

unconditionally. 

My love knows no boundaries, 

volume, or depth. 

~ 

I'm not just anyone either. 

The one you're afraid to love, 

the one you shun more than anyone else, 

the one you run from, 

the one you run to, 

the one you can't stand, 

the one you can't do without, 

I am 

the 

me 

inside...

of you.
