A poem about the waiting associated with love. | |||
A Day Without You This morning I was ready. Waiting by the phone, nerves unsteady, praying for it to ring, hoping to hear that magical voice, wondering what it would bring. It rings one time, then stop and then there's silence. Without reason or rhyme, you choose not to talk. I think you're doing it, but I can't be sure. My mood is sinking into the black pit. © December 12, 2007 by Lori Tweet
