A friend and mine where talking the other day about inner and outer beauty. I wanted to explore and find out the answer. Let me know if you agree. (Oh, and it's not what you think ;o).) | |||
Where Does Beauty Hide? In my head is escape from the world. It's the place I feel safe. I can deal with pain here. I'm in control. Push a button, flick a switch, all is made perfect again. ~ In my heart I conceal ideas of love and desire. It's the place where I am loneliest. The agony is unbearable, no relief. Say cruel words, ignore me, I'm crushed again. ~ My mind is for sale and for all to see. My heart is guarded. There's not enough money in the world that can buy my love. ~ If it was up to you, which would you rather have? Do you want the mind, which is rich in fantasy, creativity, and thoughts of lust? Or do you want the heart, which is full of sorrow, damaged, and thoughts of loving only you? © January 30, 2008 by Lori Tweet
