What do those words mean? Read on to find out. My favorite poem to date :o).

Dispersing Mentation

~

I sit here and think,

it's what I do best.

My thoughts are scattered,

jumping one to another.

Can't quite lite on just one,

without another intruding.

~

I suffer and suspect.

Have I been replaced?

What was once the highlight of my morning,

has now returned to blight me.

Have you found someone new?

I used to be the first person you talked to.

Can she love you like I do?

Maybe, it's doubtful.

No one will love you like I do.

Is she better than I?

Never!

I broke the mold.

~

I tolerate and question,

driving myself insane.

Over what?

Love's got me in it's clutches again.

Why did you try so hard?

If in the end you were just going to ignore me?

Who is she?

Why me?

What did I ever do to you?

How can I go on?

When all you want is a friend?

~

I continue and ponder,

bitting my nails to the quick.

Knowing I'm not a thought in your head.

I'm doomed for failure.
