What do you picture when you want to get away. just for that moment.

She sat staring at her computer screen.Its Sunday and she looks at her
watch,its 7 pm. Beautiful tunes playing in the background. But her mind 
is elsewhere. The tunes bring back feelings that had been forgotten. 
She looks at the wallpaper on her computer, which is of a sky in shades 
of red reflecting on the sea below it. 

She smiles. 

The real world is slowly fading away. The music lightens her spirit. In
her thoughts she is far away from the room, the computer, the empty 
day. 

She is on a deserted beach far away watching the sunset. She feels the
sand in her hands,the ocean breeze in her face. The water calms her. 

She smiles. 

She watches the waves that come at her with such fury as though they
would devour her and take her back to where they came from.She knows 
that now she is ready to let go. Let go of all the emotions that are 
holding her back. She lets the waves consume her. She is to become a 
part of the waves as they are a part of her. 

She wants to see where it all began. All those questions in her mind and
now the answers are only a thought away. 

What lies ahead of the ocean line? 

What is beyond? 

Does it all just go on? 

Or does it become a waterfall? 

Or does it lead to an alternate universe? 

And if it does,then what does it look like? 

Is it where everything is magical. The water is in shades of magnificent
colors, and the trees are golden. Where everything is calm and serene. 
The air one breaths is so fresh that it makes one want to smile 
forever. 

The perfect world that she had imagined from the time she heard her
first fairytale.Which later she realised only existed in story books. 
And if such a place really did exist,is that where She belongs? 

The tunes change in the background, she is still in her room, staring at
her computer screen but she is smiling as all her thoughts are in words 
now.The day is not empty after all. 

Her thoughts make her believe.They Give her hope.Even When everything
else feels alien, the only comfort to her soul. That feeling deep 
inside telling her to hold on, there is more out there for her. The one 
feeling that is rightly hers. Her thoughts. 

The yearning for happiness of knowing that she is where she wants to
be.The intense desire for peace now only a thought away. Her 
wishes,dreams,hopes and desires have a chance.A chance to become her 
reality. 

That one place in the world that is truly hers and hers alone. 

And then She smiles.
