We met on Valentines Day 2003, this was written in memory of that night.

I remember sitting on a brick wall, watching you come near

Butterflies in my stomach, I nervously looked away

Your picture told no lies, I had to be dreaming

Nervously we sat, casting glances each way

Finally the courage was found, but was it me or you?

Do you remember?

~

I remember walking the streets, laughing and talking

Sharing a meal while sharing our stories

The night was young, and so were we

A walk down the street; A game of pool which I believe I won ;)

Do you remember?

~

I remember a cheery guy at the coffee club

Laughing and joking, we thought he'd had too much

Sitting together, enjoying the night, not wanting it to end

Stories swapped and laughs shared, a new friendship being made

Do you remember?

~

I remember it got late, the night passed too quickly.

It was time to go, I offered you a ride

One wrong turn, and we laughed as we drove

We took the long way home, but not long enough

We reached your door, and agreed it had been fun.

The night was over, but this wasn't the end.

Do you remember?
