I Remember You 

Your eyes, were searching 

always filled with wonder. 

Your face, held a youthful smile. 

Your arms like a child's 

yet so strong and welcoming. 

I think of you when I think of 

holding someone close. 

I never told you any of this, 

But I remember you.
