about growing up

I see a child on a swing, swinging unsteady and even though my eyes

are tightly shut, I see the child swing to and fore. I hear the wind

pass me by then notice the child start to fade and wounder if this

could be. I try to grab for the child, but all I grasp onto is the

chain and as I let go to try again I notice the child disapare. I

feel cold air glide though me and as I open my eyes to see, thier I am

swinging on the swing not as a child but as an adult. I then realize

that I am growing older and that I can't keep on grabing for the child

for I'm no longer one anymore.
