I have had some rough times and this poem describes a point in my life where I realized that parents do care when we teenagers have problems. | |||
Lonely feeling, Tears of pain, Desperate cries, I'm going insane, I wish you could understand, I wish you'd be there, But I see you do not care, If you did I wouldn't be lonely, If you did I wouldn't cry, If you cared I would have a person to talk to and I would be less likely to hide, I will jump for no one cares, I will leave so you can rest, I will die for my own parents do not care, But what is that, Why do you cry, You do not care if I die, But you say you do, You tell me you're proud of what I have withstood, You tell me you love me and that you do care, You tell me you'll listen when I am scared, I love you too and now I can see that some one does care for me.
