Here's a story for those who asked... thanks for your feedback. | |||
Through the small glass window, set in the middle of the door, I can see him. I open the door slowly, trying not to let it creak. He doesn't look up. I can see the concentration on his face. Bent over the black guitar, his fingers moving over the strings. Somehow they manage to be both clumsy and elegant at the same time. As the sun sets outside, beams of tangerine light stream through the large windows. They tint his skin orange, and add an eerie glow to his raven hair. The music that emanates from the guitar is almost unbearable. It's held pain and longing inside it for so long, but now those emotions have been released. The intensity stuns me. I never knew this side of him before. A cool breeze skims across my skin, prompting an involuntary shiver. The hairs on my arms begin to stand up. His beauty is breathtaking. I can't get over the fingers, the magic that creates the music. His eyes begin to water as the sun hits them. There, in the room, it almost seems as if the music's causing his tears. I know they're causing mine. Tweet
