A Fairy Tale Comes to Life The sight of her warts, the hateful gleam in her eyes, the red apple in her hands, the darkness covering the skies, all she needs is the green skin. Her evil would be completed. A young girl is terrified by the wickedness which leaves her depleted. ~ The woman floats around in satins, ribbons, and lace. Parading around town with a smile on her beguiling face. While from morning until dark the girl does all the chores. Washing, cooking, mending, cleaning. She's never seen out of doors. ~ Everyone loves the woman. Think her kind and gracious. The girl sees her as a wolf. One who defines ostentatious. The girl longs for her father. He'd see her for what she was. Whisk the child away. Faster than a bee could buzz. ~ Miracle of miracles happen one fine but gloomy day. From the sea, the father returns. Makes the woman pay.
