“Like your favorite Julie Mango,” “I still remember seeing you 

devouring Julie Mango in the backroom while we were conducting 

experiments in the lab,” Paramhams remembered too much information. 

“Yes, here I can buy large Caribbean Avocados, Guineps, 

Mangoes, star Apple, sour and sweet sop, Trinidad Roti and Jamaican 

Patty, practically anything from the Caribbean.” 

When Juggernaut first met Paramhams in the lab; he wondered how 

he got his name.  Paramhams explained that his forefathers were from 

India and perhaps he was named after some Hindu God.  Juggernaut 

eventually figured out that most likely he might have named after 

Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, a Hindu Mystic since Paramhams sounds close to 

Paramahamsa. Juggernaut never expected to see him again after both left 

the island well over three decades ago. 

It was a miracle on Collins Avenue to meet Paramhams 

unexpectedly, if not for his Indian connection, Juggernaut could never 

figure it out the origin of his name. “Well, Paramhams I am so happy to 

see you after so long, I would say you could be a reincarnation of 

Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the Hindu Mystic born again in Belize in 

your form,” said Juggernaut with a laugh in a light hearted way.  “If 

you say so, I don't mind the title Swamy,” replied Paramhams, he was as 

naive about his name now as he was then.
