This is a story about a grandmother who babysits her little granddaughter and it tells everything the little girl plays with.

SHE IS ONE YEAR OLD Word count 250

She craws across the floor steadily like a worm. Her beautiful blue eyes
taking everything in with wonderment. She has a large box of toys a
little blue train a table with a matching chair, but she doesn't go
near any of them. She loves telephones, pencils, cassette tapes;
refrigerator magnets and commodes I gave her a piece of banana she
takes one bite and flips the rest on to the floor. She finally reaches
her destination she sees what she can reach with her tiny hands. She
loves plants and as she reaches for the leaves I told her no! She then
turns away and continues her search.

It is time for lunch and I attempt to feed her baby food she pushes the
spoon away. If that doesn't work she waits until the spoon is filled
with baby food. She then flings her arms back and forth hitting the
spoon and splattering food all over her, the surrounding area and me.
That did it for me. I walked to the kitchen and got a pop cycle from
the freezer. She notices me as I walk back to the living room. I
looked around and saw her traveling so fast like a small puppy ready to
eat. She stood and sucked the pop cycle until it was all gone. Then it
was time to roam again. I know what she is thinking. No time for a nap
today. I'm at Mamaw's
