Can we ever regain the time we lost working for other people? Is it gone forever?

Off you go

To work today

To do the work

Of three

And pay

Is less then what

You made before

Complain and find

You're shown the door

Conform you're told

And meetings too

Remarks that tear

A troubled you

Then take a seat

Begin the day

But concentrate

It's hard to say

Will you perform

Live up to who

The ones who watch

And turn you to

A slave who chained

Cannot set free

The person you

Have yet to be

But money wars

Will make you stay

A zombie who

Collects their pay

And turn to find

The gap in you

The missing time

That must accrue

Was this a life

You never knew

Without the time

To think it through
