A Look Back at the Lost Summer Subba Rao Summer ended abruptly as if somebody pushed an off button; China and Pakistan were flooded; Mudslides, earth quakes and wild fires kept their word; Hurricanes took a sabbatical, that's good; Housing market still at ground floor; Jobs are few to share; If we believe in polls, Majority of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track; Nobody agrees when it began; Some say two years ago; Others say from a long time; High income taxes are bad says rich; For jobless no income and no taxes; Not enough good jobs say middle class; All we have lots of debt to share; Trillions for unwanted wars; Billions for those that caused the crash; Billions for failed auto industry in Detroit; Republican say don't look back at the past and vote for them for a new beginning; A new beginning to what end? Democrats say stick with them; Stick with them to fell apart? Burning a holy book to create a fire storm to kill a fire? That's democracy in action; What choices we have? Tweet
