As our work and computers make us move faster, what changes will take place because of this? Will our present units of time need to change to describe this sped up version of life?

A new type of time 

May well be convening 

The spin of the earth 

May become too confining 

And hours as units 

Become undermining 

Just think of it when 

We traveled on horses 

And ate very slowly 

And spoke between courses 

I can't help but wonder 

Sit here and leer 

The past is behind us 

The future is here
