What you really have is a matter of perspective

Can you really have EVERYTHING 

Or NOTHING at all? 

It depends on how you see things 

And that is what life brings 

Truth or beauty 

Sorrow or joy 

You hold the cards in your hand 

Take a chance on living 

Go for the gold 

In your heart 

It's better to have nothing 

at all 

Than to have everything 

with a cold black heart. 

You can buy up the world 

And lock it all up 

Just for you to see 

Soon you will find that 

You trust no one who knocks at 

Your door. 

Alone with your stuff 

Is that enough for you? 

That's your choice 

Money can take you 

to far away places 

With far away people 

That care not for you 

But for what you have 

If you lose your money 

What can you be now? 

You can have everything 

And nothing at all. 

It is a choice of your soul. 

Your heart does not need things 

or places 

Your heart just needs love. 

It matters not what you have in your pocket 

Or what street your reside. 

Keep that sunshine in your soul 

You do have EVERYTHING 

AND NOTHING AT ALL. 

BE STRONG, BE LOVING, BE YOURSELF 

IT'S BETTER THAN NOTHING.
