Our world tilts when love chooses to close the door on us. | |||
Finding Balance Spiraling out of control. Emotions crashing and burning. Thoughts flash in my head. Stomach twisting and churning. Prayers to not get sick. About lessons I'm learning. Anger raises its ugly head. My heart, for you, is yearning. ~ Through it all one emotion shines foremost. The desire to simply exist is stronger than ever. Even without you my heart will go on. I'm finding my sanity and finally being clever. No more stupidity, tears, or pleas. The mind is pulling a new lever. My soul longs for an apology. But those words I'll hear never. ~ This see-saw ride was once fun. Yet now it's too painful to bear. The ups and downs are coming too quickly. New walls out of nowhere. I can't live like this. Not when the dream is longer shared. Not when all we do is fight. Without words and with hearts of despair. ~ Let me go or hold me close. I said that a week ago. How ironic we're back where we were. We've again reached this lonely plateau. Don't you realize, can't you understand, you've always had me from hello? I wish you could see there's not any way I could willing ever let you go. © March 22, 2010 by Lori Tweet
