What would you do for love? What sacrifice is too much? IS there a price to high for love?

Love's Understanding Lamb

Why must there be an end?

Today is beautiful.

Faith renews its worth.

The sun is shining.

Spring has sprung.

The season for rebirth.

~

What becomes of the dreams?

Images in my head.

Like picnics in the park.

My head in your lap.

Writing poetry.

Sheet dancing in the dark.

~

Why must change come?

Can feel my body transforming.

I'm losing love's amazing moisture.

Where happiness once reigned,

where I discovered my own strength,

I now catch glimpses of agonizing torture.

~

What happens to the plans?

Afternoons of passion.

A life split between reality and fantasy.

Early morning phone calls.

Stolen evening kisses.

Building anticipated ecstasy.

~

Why does love have to be wrong?

When it makes everything worthwhile.

When it's the healing balm.

When it's where relaxation is found.

When it brings freedom of self.

When it makes the inner seas calm.

~

What makes it right?

Recognizing we have so much in common.

Spreading our new wings.

Realizing the difference between my reality and yours.

Knowing the right decision could be wrong.

Sacrificing myself for the commitment of rings.
