a girl is in an apartment waiting for a man she is haunted by her mother's ghost and a neighbour drops by for some sugar that is snowy and sparkly like snow this is probably the best story you'll ever read | |||
It was a night like no other, the moon was hanging in the sky like it always does. She stood waiting for the man who would change her life to come meet her. It made her heart go bang bang like some massive bongo drum to think of what he might say when he got there. It felt like he is taking forever. Waiting and waiting she waited but time is a cruel mistress like the sea which sometimes rocks ships to death. She wishes she is dead and then there was a noice at the door, bangbang, like a massive bongo drum like the same way her heart was going. She flew to the door like a bird that has wings full of happiness and opened it with that very same heart in her mouth. But it is not him! Instead it is her neighbour. 'what do you want?' she says trying not to sound like she wanted her neighbour to go away when obviously she really did. "oh hello" he said "i would like to borrow some sugar please" she sighed but he is nice man so she told her "ok wait i will get you some" and went to the kitchen with a heavy heart like it was made of stone or something. her neighbour came in and she looked around her apartment. "you have nice house" she said and she came back with some sugar in a cup "here is your sugar yes it is a nice house i live here alone because my mother is dead" she said The nice neighbour said 'oh, but that is very sad. Are you lonely here all by your own?' Now the girl was annoyed, you have your sugar now leave me alone she thought to herself but didn't say allowed. 'No i am happier on my own, can I get you anymnore things?' 'well, I'm glad you don't scare easy.' The nice neighbour said, holding her cup of sugar as though it was a spooky candle. then there was a knock at the door. it was him!! she looked at him and said "its not what you think!" and he said "I think it is! I was going to come to here to ask you to marry me but now the wedding is off I never want to see you again!" he stormed out and she sat down on her knees and cryed and cryed her tears dropping onto her knees she was sitting on and making her princess dress all muddy meanwhile, the nice neighbour had spilled the cup of sugar all over the floor and it lay on the carpet like very sad snowflakes. 'there there,' she said. 'he can't be a very nice man after all.' 'You don't understand' the girl said with her heart all broken like a smashed up drum. 'He was the beast thing that ever happened to me and he was going to take me away from this awful p[lace.' 'Wait, I thought you said you liked living here' the neighbour said with a knowing smile. she went silent like the sound of a concert after the concert had finished and everybody had gome home to sleep and be quiet in their dreams. 'well' she said ' the truth is that my mother still haunts this place and she does not want tme to leave' she sighed the sigh of a thousand unhappy people. 'and he was going to help me forever leave this place and not be haunted by the spirit of my mother who is haunting this apartment that we are inside right now like the white bit inside an oreo cookie' 'but now, who knows what will happen' she continued sadly. 'well, maybe I will be able to help you there' the neighbour said, as she put the cup down on the chair and kneeled down beside the crying girl so that she got sugar all over her skirt. 'how could you help me!' the girl wailed like a puppy who had been trod on 'it's all your fault that he even left me.' 'well, said the neighbour. 'you're never going to believe this, but sometimes things happen for a reason.' 'but now, who knows what will happen' she continued sadly. 'you're never going to believe this, but sometimes things happen for a reason.' 'oh my god' she said. 'you are really the prince of my dreams in disguise' 'that's true,; sad that man that had been her neighbour. All of the sugar rose up from the floor and sparkled in the air like lovely stars in the sky. 'you giving me the sugar was the act of kindness I needed to know you should be my true love and that I can take you away from this place.' 'that's amazing' the girl said. 'even better,' her new lover replied 'the ghost of your mother will be happy now because I am at one with the spirit world.' now her heart was pounding like a bongo drum but this time the beat was a happy one like a barn dance instead of a voodoo ritual of doom. ' i love you' she said 'gimme some sugar' he said and the kissed forever and a day and got married hapily ever after THE END or ios it? Tweet
