On the forums we've been talking about poetry. A GREAT man said a phrase I fell in love with. I asked if I could borrow it. He gifted it to me. Thank you so much Kelly! This may not follow all the rules, but I did follow some ;o). | |||
Stationary Love Floats Too * Two balloons. Separated by distance. Long for love-filled afternoons. Yours tethered to the sink. Mine moves in the breeze. Spend eternity in sync. * Locked and secure, just as you are, has my cure. Red in color, turtle shaped, grows so much deeper. * Free-flowing and silly, just as I am, leaves you dizzy. The color purple, butterfly wings, not meant to trample. * You're rooted. I'm more carefree. Together we've been so gifted. Storms will come and go. Clear skies always to return. Our love forever flows. © June 13, 2009 by Lori Tweet
