the night is burdened by my presence the clouds are dark and threatening the knife flashes into my mind my sorrow envelopes me fully i'm lost without my pain save me from myself i know you say i don't deserve it that cutting isn't what i want to do but each droplet of blood splashes down and brings inside me a small victory for i have suffered for my wrongs i deserve the pain but then as the blood leaves me veins a whisper comes out of my mouth so soft, so slight "save me" my mouth says "save me from myself" but the whisper is lost among the wind and you do not hear my silent cry i am alone in this cold night as i deserve to be but i can't help but wish you could save me from me....
