As the sun now sets Revealing the beauty of night The face of your lover flashes across your mind The most beautiful face you've ever seen How you wish to reach out To caress that beautiful face To have those warm luscious lips on your own What is it about that love that makes you feel this way? The sweet ecstasy of their embrace The adrenaline from their ravenous kiss The need, the want for them, Haunts you every moment of the hour Their tenderness the most wonderful thing Their eyes hypnotizing, their gaze mesmerizing Their face now fades from your mind Slowly slipping away You try with all your might to hold onto them To keep their face in your mind; their face fully gone now You are left with nothing Not even one memory You feel so empty; your heart is no longer there Why has this happened to you?
