There once was a fair lady who grace our days in our local Ministry, Whose co-workers suggested it was good experience to work here for free; This sad tale of woe for our little dear Accounts enquiry clerk to be, Was that she dressed in the dark of night in clothes she was unable to see; And so she came to work this late August summer day wearing a Hoody, She hoped would help to keep her “middle-aged” bones all warm and toast tee; Until a co-worker remarked that the number on her back ended in niner, Hoping that he wouldn't end up with a smack and a brand-new shiner; The niner seemed to innocently start with the average number of Eight, Hanging to low the hood turned it to Sixty and determined her ill fate; She pulled the hoody up to expose her true number to all who could see, But word had been spread by the co-worker whose silence was not free; The lesson to be learned in this little proverbial yet unavoidable little tale, Is to dress in the light and not shop for cheap hoodies on the bargain table!
