This is a poem about a woman who wants to be washed clean.

Bathed in the Anew

Water, water

wash my body.

Run over the valleys,

and slip into the crevices.

Cleanse me from head to toe.

~

Water, water

wash my heart.

It's been badly bruised

from self-abuse.

Cleanse me from the inside out.

~

Water, water

wash my soul.

Horribly scarred and torn apart

it needs your healing power.

Cleanse me white as snow.

~

Water, water

wash my love.

Neglected for so long

it doesn't know how to start.

Cleanse me for the love I can't live without.
