October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is my contribution to the fight against this dreaded disease. | |||
Searching for a Cure Sitting here naked. Waiting for my turn to come. Wanting to be lost in a field of flowers. Feeling the sunlight on my skin. Anything to have this undone. ~ They're going to press it down, squeeze it flat, see inside. They'll tell me what's wrong, and give me a death warrant. ~ Ahead is a life of pain, misery, abandonment. No one will want me like this, love me during this, see me through this. ~ Think pink! Think cure! Someone take the time to save me from this disease. © September 25, 2008 by Lori Tweet
