To live for the future you have to let go of the past. The trick is finding out if we can.
 



Dropped By the Rain 

There's a flower 

tossed aside. 

Left to wither 

and die. 

Love cast away. 

Hoped to be rekindled 

another day. 

Vows taken 

and broken. 

Without the heart 

going unspoken. 

The age old 

song of love. 

Now you hide from 

the man above. 

~ 

Only you 

can change your life. 

Only you 

choose to keep your wife. 

Only to become, 

once again, 

the flower 

left to wither and die.
