My goodbye to the sunlight in my life.

Farewell to the Sun

I need to release the sun.

So it can shine it's light on a known dove.

For I can no longer be the one

the sun should love.

I need to give you back, my precious sun,

to whom you belong.

I'm too weak though.

And where I'm concerned, you're too strong.

You've filled me with light,

love, and song.

With you it's not right.

But apart makes forever too long.
