A some what structured poem about the five basic emotions.

Enemies of the Light 

~ 

Fear 

came to me, 

only to see, 

it wasn't 

to be. 

~ 

Rejection, 

my brother. 

We get along 

quite well together. 

No need to 

chose another. 

~ 

Pain, 

an old friend, 

reminds me 

I'm on the mend, 

and some things 

don't bend. 

~ 

Hate, 

my lover. 

It does not 

hide under cover. 

Will always 

try to smother. 

~ 

Love 

beautiful 

and bright. 

If only 

I could feel 

your light. 

Release me 

from this dark 

night.
