A poem about a woman who finds her love and she don't always see eye to eye. | |||
Break the Chains which Bind my Heart From deep in the night, your voice beckons. I take flight, to see what reckons. ~ Love me, you plead. Desire me, I ask. Take me, we answer in turn. ~ Your face shines before me, your eyes penetrate into mine, our thoughts become one, it's there for all to see. ~ Love me, you plead. Desire me, I ask. Take me, we answer in turn. ~ Let's fly as high as we can, forgot about today, and responsibilities. Let's escape, go to a land, where it's just us. ~ Desire me, you plead. Love me, I ask. Forgive me, we answer in turn. ~ We've changed emotions, but never changed positions. You were first and I've always been last. © January 17, 2007 by Lori Tweet
