Describing what a woman thinks when she's not with the one she loves. Again, part of another poem I've chopped up to make it easier to read. | |||
When We're Apart I miss you when your gone. I long for your touch, your voice on the phone, your sarcastic humor, and all the endearments I once hated. When you're gone there is no color, no beauty, no rhyme. When you're not with me I feel so alone, confused, unloved, and out of time. Tell me the truth. Do you really love me? Or is it all a myth? I can't stand this. It drives me nuts. I love you. Please say you are mine. Give me peace of mind. Take me, break me, just say you feel the same. I miss you so much. I know I'm pouting, but I'm worried. I know who you're with and it makes me feel like I'm dying. Tell me, what is in your heart. For your love I can't feel when you we're apart. © October 30, 2007 by Lori Tweet
