"One is the loneliest number." Wasn't that part of a song back in the days? These are my thoughts on being "Alone." | |||
Alone ~ In a gathering, yet all alone. Want to scream out loud. Instead I bite my tongue and groan. ~ Within the masses, yet all alone. Came to a conclusion, romance can't be grown. ~ Part a gang, yet all alone. Dejected and rejected, away my spirit has flown. ~ One of a multitude, yet all alone. Outside the sky is blue, inside me there is a cyclone. ~ With you, yet all alone. You like me, not love me. That is now known. ~ My heart breaks. © January 7, 2008 by Lori Tweet
