It seems, in the last week, we’ve had a prankster who sends rude emails. I get a kick out of them. This is dedicated to that person. Forgive the graphic nature of this, the words are the actual ones I was sent.

Someone Really Loves Me

First, I want to thank you 

for your emails 

when I was feeling blue. 

Your words were supposed to harm. 

But in them, 

I found your charm. 

~ 

This is what you said about “Loneliness.” 

“Reading this has convince me 

you have a mental problem 

and ever word was pure shit, 

with a topping on top.” 

You had your say. 

You thought 

to ruin my day. 

But instead it brought a smile 

to my face. 

Your comment made me realize 

my writing must be worthwhile.

You're right in what you say. 

I do have a mental problem. 

I fight depression every day. 

My words weren't shit, though. 

It would've been nice, 

if you had started with hello.

How dare you ridicule my thought! 

They were written for someone I love 

with all my heart. 

They weren't shit with vomit on top.
