a sotry of losing and finding love

All alone he sits in his box, 

Waiting and waiting for help 

Then suddenly the big box rocks 

And the pup begins to yelp 

He screams and howls and yelps and barks 

Till he realizes it's no use 

Why try to get into peoples hearts 

When all he'll get is abuse 

He waits and waits for the day to come 

When he can be loved forever 

He waits all night for the hot, warm sun 

A wait he's willing to endeavor 

Then finally his chance to be loved 

Came up over a hill 

A hand floated in like a dove 

It was trying to deliver a bill 

The pup was pulled out of his box 

And with excitement, he yelped 

And now with joy the puppy rocks 

In the lap of the man who helped
