Michael and Amber had been talking online for seven months and decided to get together for the first time. “Where do you want me to meet you?” Michael asked with a smile. “Sheetz in Buckhannon.” Amber replied, getting her car keys off of her desk in her dorm room. “What are we going to do?” He questioned almost flirting. “I don't know. We can hang out at the college if you want to.” She said with a smile. “Can I go in your dorm?” He asked, smiling big. “No, but if we want to be alone we can go to my secret place.” She replied, putting her boots and jacket on. “And where's that?” He questioned still smiling. “If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret now would it.” She said, walking out her dorm room door. “I see the exit to Buckhannon.” He noted, trying not to drop his cell phone. “Okay, I'll be meet you at Sheetz in ten minutes.” She informed and hung up the phone after saying their good byes. When Amber arrived at Sheetz, Michael was sitting there in his silver, Chevy single cab, pickup waiting for her. “Hey.” He greeted, getting out of his truck. “Hello.” She quietly replied with a slight smile. “Well, someone is being shy.” He flirted and put his arm around her. “I told you I would be.” She reminded with a bigger smile. “Yea, I know.” He replied, smiling back. “Well, let's go.” She suggested and he walked her over to her car. When they arrived at the school, they went to the track and walked while they talked about anything and everything. “So, where's your boyfriend?” He asked, walking beside her. “We broke up.” She replied, looking down at the track. “Is that why you wanted me to come see you?” He questioned with a slight smile. “Yes.” She said, limping and went to sit down on the bench on the side of the track and he followed her. “Are you okay?” He asked, sitting beside her. “Yea, my knee is bothering me.” She replied, rubbing her knee. “Let me see it.” He requested, putting his hand on her thigh. She put her leg on his lap and massaged her knee for her. “How's that feel?” He questioned still rubbing it. “Better.” She replied and their eyes met. “Good.” He said with a smile. She put her hand on his and looked into his eyes, but when they were about to kiss, it started to storm. “Oh.” She exclaimed and started running.
